New York Film Festival

5.5” x 8.5” booklet

Project (Class Assignment)

Role: Designer

I reimagined the New York Film Festival’s visual identity by creating a branded program booklet to guide first-time and returning visitors.

For the 58th edition, I was heavily inspired by the muted color palette and bold linear design of VHS tapes from the 1980s and 90s, as well as early models of the Polaroid camera. The design system reinforces this concept by consistently using rainbow colors and lines as key callout elements.
